Daily Itinerary Items

Day 1 : Fly to Boston
Upon our arrival on the East Coast, we check-in for a two night stay in the Boston area.
Day 2 : Boston Sights & JFK Library
This morning we journey back in time to the colonial era as an expert local guide introduces us to the historic and cultural sights of Boston. Our lunch stop is at one of America's most famous shopping and dining complexes, historic Quincy Market. Late afternoon, we visit the John F. Kennedy Library where a documentary film and exhibits acquaint us with the political career and family life of one of our country's most remembered presidents. Our Tour Director hosts an included welcome dinner this evening. B,D
Day 3 : Franconia Notch State Park
Keep a watchful eye and camera ready as we meander through the Mt. Washington Valley, nationally recognized as one of America's most scenic areas. Its quintessential New England landscape features lush foliage, mountain brooks and covered bridges that stand as nostalgic reminders of simpler times. Today's highlights are a lunch break in charming North Conway, with its unique Victorian train depot; stunning views and photo stops while traveling along the rugged mountain valleys of Crawford and Franconia Notch. These popular state parks allow visitors access to numerous walking trails, scenic viewpoints, waterfalls, and spectacular mountain views B,D
Day 4 : Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise & Castel in the Clouds
Discover the sparkling beauty of New Hampshire's largest lake from two unique vantage points. First, onboard the Winnipesaukee Belle, an authentic paddlewheel, as we embark on a relaxing narrated cruise along its unspoiled shores and later, from the spectacular mountaintop setting of the Lucknow Estate. Perched high in the Ossipee Mountains, this extraordinary "Castle in the Clouds" is accented by beautiful gardens and panoramic views of autumn landscapes. We enjoy a drive along the scenic Kancamagus Highway before returning to our picturesque overnight accommodations. CB
Day 5 : Woodstock, Vermont
Resting on the edge of the Green Mountains in the heart of Vermont, we enjoy leisure time in the quaint village of Woodstock, often described as "the prettiest small town in America." Settled in 1768, it retains the elegant charm of yesteryear with its traditional New England hospitality, covered bridge, stately homes and unique shops. Enroute to our comfortable accommodations in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, we break for a fun visit at The Apple Barn. Once a small road side produce stand, this 300-acre orchard welcomes visitors with the sweet smell of freshly picked apples, the rich aromas of their Country Bake shop and the most stunning scenery in Southern Vermont. CB,D
Day 6 : Norman Rockwell Museum & Shaker Village
Joined by an expert local guide, we learn of Stockbridge's rich history and the many charming attributes of this picture postcard town that Norman Rockwell affectionately referred to as "the best of America, the best of New England." His treasured home in the latter years of life, we visit the museum that bears his name and experience first-hand the life, art and legacy of this beloved artist. After a lunch stop in historic Lenox, we receive a warm welcome at the Hancock Shaker Village. A guided tour, traditional entertainment and authentic Shaker supper offers a fascinating insight into their passion for community and commitment to historic preservation. CB,D
Day 7 : New York City
A new adventure beckons as we trade nature's panorama for the diverse cityscape of "The Big Apple." Our first introduction to this fascinating city is by way of the historic Seaport District where we break for lunch on our own at the South Street Seaport Museum. A narrated city tour by a local guide acquaints us with such iconic landmarks as Times Square, Greenwich Village, Chinatown and 5th Avenue. Our accommodations are located in the heart of Manhattan. CB
Day 8 : Broadway Musical

Today we climb aboard ZEPHYR, a one-of-a-kind luxury yacht, for a one hour cruise and the opportunity to view the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, the World Trade Center site and the Empire State Building. Next we’ll go behind-the-scenes on a tour of Radio City Music Hall and get an insider’s view of the most iconic theater in New York where the biggest names in show business perform! The remainder of the afternoon is free. Tonight, we enjoy a special farewell dinner followed by the Broadway Musical Mamma Mia!; a memorable highlight of our time in New York. D
