Experience a three night cruise through the Inside Passage and travel the Alaska Highway from the Yukon to Alaska’s spectacular Interior.
Scott was born and raised in the northeastern U.S. He moved to Texas in 1981. His four daughters were born in Texas and his wife, Laura, has lived there most of her life.
Scott received his bachelor’s degree in Meteorology from Penn State University in 1977. He first began forecasting Texasweather while at Accu Weather in State College, PA. That made the transition much easier when he moved to Dallas - Fort Worth.
He started at KETK TV in Tyler - Longview in January, 2006. He forecasts the weather not only on KETK and FOX 51 but also on FOX Stations in Waco, College Station and Shreveport.
Scott’s family also loves the area. His wife, Laura, is a hair stylist in Longview and last fall they became the proud grandparents of their oldest daughter & son-in-laws first baby girl. They have four daughters and Scott says that he is surrounded by “successful women!”
Scott and Laura have previously hosted a tour to Glacier, Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons. They invite you to join them and other KETK TV viewers on this adventure to Alaska!

The Alaska Highway was constructed during World War II as a military route linking Alaska with the lower 48 states. Tonight’s comfortable accommodations are in Tok. Originating as an Alaska Road Commission camp in the 1940’s, it is considered the “Sled Dog Capital of Alaska.” D
En route to Fairbanks, we pass through Alaska’s largest agricultural area, Delta Junction. Later we relive childhood joy at the Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska, before visiting Museum of the North featuring a unique collection of exhibits and artifacts meaningful to the area.
